I painted this mixed media piece expressing my view on self acceptance.  I have always been a little unusual, never really fitting in entirely.  I began to realize that each and every one of us is perfect just the way we are.  Only when we are truly ourselves can we be the best we can be.

I created this mixed media piece as a portrait of my boyfriend, now husband.  Every detail makes up a part of the unique and wonderful individual that he is.

After many tough years, I found myself able to laugh and truly live again, so I created this acrylic self portrait out of my sheer joy!
